Format
- U8-U14, U16, U18 age groups (age chart here)
- Single year age groups if numbers allow; some divisions may be combined (e.g. U10 and U12)
- 2v2 Format, teams must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 players
- Group stage followed by knockout rounds, just like the World Cup
- Up to 48 Teams with each team representing a team from the 2026 World Cup
- Top two teams in each group advance to knockout round
- Ties in the standings after group play are resolved by head-to-head, goal differential, goals scored for, and coin flip
- Knockout games that are tied are determined by a golden goal
- All teams will play a minimum of four games
- Registration fee of $150/team ($37/player for a 4-person team)
Rules of Play
- Games will consist of one 10-minute period
- All goals must be scored in the attacking half of the field
- If a goal is scored from the defensive half, a goal kick will be awarded to the opposing team
- Substitutions are done on the fly with the player on the field needing to fully exit the field before the substitute replaces them
- If the ball goes out on the sideline a kick in is awarded rather than a throw in
- All dead balls are indirect
- All restarts have to be taken within four seconds
- Defending teams must be behind half field during goal kicks
- Defending players must be 2 yards from kick-ins and free kicks
- Of a team is down by 4 goals or more, it can add a player (similar to a power play). If the score differential becomes 3 goals (or less) again, the player must be removed.
Tiebreaker Rules
- The field is 25 yards by 15 yards
- The crease is a half-circle with a 2.5-yard radius
- The crease serves as an area in front of the goal that defensive and offensive players cannot enter
- If a defensive player enters the crease a goal is awarded
- If an offensive player enters the crease a goal kick is awarded
- If the ball stops in the crease a goal kick is awarded
